Book Review: “Reckless Girls, Rachel Hawkins”

Well, life does get busy but I haven’t stopped reading! Here is the first book backlog of books I have read as of this year!

Reckless Girls, where to start! Do you like psychological mind tricks? What about tropical islands and your own personal island?! Are you needing a good beach/summer read? Look no further. Reckless girls is twisted in all the right ways. It reminds me of a modern twist of Richard Connell “The Most Dangerous Game” they both take place on an island, and some bizarre/yet twisted things go wrong. The view points in this story change every few chapters and makes you wonder where is it heading?! It makes it so all of the narrators are unreliable and makes for all the more sweeter adventure.

The journey starts off in tropical Hawaii and a chartered boat trip gone erm… sideways? You’ll have to be the judge of that yourself. Need an escape from COVID, Monkey Pox and possibly politics?! Pick up a book, and a tropical drink and look no further!
