This book- oh my goodness. Let me start at the ending it was bittersweet- upon finishing the last few pages, and closing the book I couldn’t help but cry. Addie, Henry and even Luc became part of an intimate friendship it made me incredibly sad I would not see how the rest of their stories unfold. It was almost like having some amazing friends and knowing that you would never see them again for the first time? I know that sounds strange but seriously. Read this book- it has so many wonderful elements! A strong female character, independence, friendship, mythology, making hard choices, and a little bit of romance. This story is beautifully told. Disclaimer, I listened to it on Audible, and read the hardbound copy of it. I sometimes bounce back and fourth between audiobooks and book books. The audio version of this book was done superbly- you cannot go wrong either way.
