Book Review: “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo- Taylor Jenkins-Reid”

What am I reading? Or finished? In the last couple of days I finished off this amazing novel. The Seven Lives of Evelyn Hugo is a throwback to a beautiful time. It maybe beautiful, ornate, grandeur- BUT, the 1950’s was a trying time for women working in the filming industry, and let’s be honest; a time period when loving someone out of the box was very taboo. Vintage Hollywood vibes, LGBQ, scandals, The Right to Die, traveling, the wardrobe and feminism. Truly, this book has it all- and I devoured it. Definitely worth the read.
